Educational institutions are facing new challenges in constantly mutating needs in the educational process. The distance education by combining synchronous and asynchronous learning methods is gaining ground among learners. The trainer has to select from a set of offered tools that fits more in his temperament and covers teaching methods preferred by him. This thesis focuses on educational software wizIQ which offers both free and paid services. His comparative advantage is that it can operate entirely online without burdening users with concerns about compatibility and possible updates. For the description of the software was preferred a comprehensive pathway approach that serves both the trainer and the trainee. In each case presented the process from both sides concerned. Benefits of wizIQ divided into two major sections and in this way are presented in the text below. Learning (Learn) and Teaching (Teach) contain all the individual features. The notion of organized course structure is inserted, what does it comprises and how does that serves the flow of instruction and interaction with stakeholders. When the user is choosing an account at registration process the wizIQ interface is configured accordingly. As a result the user acquires the ability for specific actions. These actions concern both him and the other participants of the course. The online courses, the test, the content library, opportunities of promotion and publishing courses and finally the connection of the above are just some of the elements that make wizIQ stands out from competition
