Harris Sakellariou is one of the influential litterateur, poet, pedagogue and adult theatric play writer. Folksy elements and simple demotic language is found in all his plays, which disclosures the target audience of the author. He was using a variety of subjects which was always approachable to the audience. His subjects were addressing the reality of day-to-day life during his time, but at the same time his plays remained timeless. His wish and desire was to disseminate through his plays or writings an ideological or pedagogical message to the audience. Through those messages it is clear for everyone to understand Harris Sakellariou's left-wing political ideology, as he was a member of EPON. He fought, in his own unique way, to keep people vigilant and to help them succeed in life with dignity. His works and his contribution to Greek Resistance (during WWII) are undoubtedly recognizable and consolidated
